How have I been? You ask…
Well I’m fine. Just fine. I’ve actually been…sort of…enjoying school! I know it’s unbelieveable but it’s not been that bad. Now I’m doing my options things some how seem brighter than they used to.
Anyway what have I been doing? Well coursework (for a while I was drowning in maths course work), making a card for my friend’s birthday and shopping for her present and buying other things at the same time. Clicky <—that is a link to my latest piece on dA for the card. There’s also another one but I like this one best because it’s me!
What about school? Surely something has happened? Well not really. Oh apart from I’ve been set a horrible speaking task in English and I’ve no idea what to talk about. Also just last week we talked a lot about The Game. For those who don’t know everyone plays the game just without knowing. The aim of The Game is to forget The Game. If you remember it then you lose. You must announce your loss. Anyway Sally came up with the idea to slip piece of paper saying the game into pockets and things. Sally gave Ellie and Louise one of these pieces of paper. Then in English they put it in a folder that they passed back to Parker and his friend. His friend opens the folder, he knows about The Game and has yet to lose it again. He opens the folder and he and Parker shout “NOOO!” Sally and I turn to see the two of them staring in open shock at the folder. Ellie and Louise are laughing and tell us what they did. At that Sally and I too burst out laughing. “That’s just funny,” they said even though they were fighting off smiles. It was the best English lesson ever.

A Fresh Look at School

School has definitely become more enjoyable. Sort of. In games we choose what sport activities we do so it’s much better than before… though that’s only until Easter mind you. I.C.T. isn’t made a little annoying by this one kid who goes on and on all the time. English is slightly more bearable ow that the Moron is gone (sayonara Ethan!) but Parker still remains. Oh and his buddy joined our class. I won’t explain how the new English groups work because it’s too much of a pain.
My website project is coming along nicely. I’ve learned a little bit about CSS so now I can customize the site layout and I switched hosts to something much better. I’m starting a new wallpaper project as well. I call it the A Traveling Glow Midnight Shades wallpaper pack. I’ve already decided on some colours now I just have to get the job done
! I would also like to get some emoticons made for my blog but I keep pushing it aside. I’m not sure if I’ll even bother knowing how lazy I can be.
I’ve been attacked by homework on all sides. Turns out that there really is no mercy once you reach GCSE. Oh well. It just means now I will have even less time to do all the things that I want to do and less time for projects that I keep planning to do. It’s a shame because I have lots of nice ideas but with my lacking time and a desire to actually put any effort into just about anything it means that I never get anything but the necessities done.
Something funny happened today. My set 1 English class can be very stupid considering how clever they are meant to be but even today everyone thought that this was stupid. Parker went into the cupboard to look for a dictionary. He noticed that in their someone had decided to state the obvious and label a cupboard with the word…cupboard. The best part was not that someone had labeled the cupboard but that Parker actually thought someone had labeled it wrong by spelling cupboard worng. Of course if you haven’t already gotten the hint by now with the bold letters then I’ll tell you. Parker thought cupboard was spelt without a p. Everyone burst out laughing, myself included, and the teacher proceeded to tell him just how stupid he’d been. Considering Parker’s so smart I was gob smacked. Then again the other day he asked the teacher how you spell wince which I couldn’t believe either.
Well post again soon!

My Impending Doom
Well it’s that time of year again. School. That’s right school is just around the corner. So I’m currently in a rush to Finnish my art homework even though I’ve had six weeks (and I’m still worried if I’ve actually been put on the art course). Still I suppose I’m looking forward to seeing my friends though right?…Wrong. I didn’t go to a stupid sleepover that Louise arranged and now she’s hacked off. I don’t get why she wanted me there! She knows I never have any fun, that I complain about how they won’t let me sleep and I don’t share any secrets (they should mind their own business…though I don’t have any real business to share)!
So with my holidays fast disappearing I’m doing what I’ve been doing all summer, nothing. That’s right! No holidays, I’ve been on one outing for Ellie’s birthday and that’s it socially, I went shopping for uniform, books and art supplies that’s it basically.
Still one thing I did achieve this summer was convince dad to buy me a laptop! Yay. It’s difficult to find one with a price tag that will make him happy. I rather like the look of all the Sony laptops but…HUGE PRICE TAG! *Sigh* What am I going to do? (Don’t think “Get a Mac!” I don’t want a Mac, feel free to be shocked, and they have a large price tag too) I’ve been thinking that the Dell Inspiron 15 isn’t so bad. It looks like it does everything I want and it comes in multiple colours! I also want a tablet (dad doesn’t know but who cares) and of course I want a Wacom. I rather want a Bamboo fun small tablet but I’ll be happy to settle with a Bamboo just so long as I get a tablet! A Bamboo tablet of any kind would fit my needs really. If I ask for any other tablet then my dad would have a fit when he saw the bill. My dad worries too much about money, cares more about his retirement fund than anyone or anything else. Still enough about him.

It’s Summer…well sort of…

When I say it’s sort of I mean “it’s summer but you don’t see a lot of sun and it rains regularly”. What better way to define summer in England. Well I’m now on summer break and I start my GCSEs next year, one of which is art. I decided to choose this subject after I’d chosen my options and so had to do all this faffing around to change from French to art. Still it’s done. I’ve had to buy a whole load of art supplies as I missed the order placed by the school. Oh and I have…art summer homework! No academic subject has dared to infirnge on my end of year summer holidays! This is a horrific crime! Still I’ll live.
Manga! I’ve ordered all currently published in English volumes of Venus Versus Virus (volumes 1-6 by the way). Now I only have two volumes left, the first of which (volume 7) comes out in September (if I remember correctly). Yay I can’t wait! I’ve already seen the anime and I like to try and collect the manga of anime series I’ve enjoyed (if the have a manga that is). I also plan on getting all volumes of Shugo Chara and I intend on adding more titles to the list! Oh and I want volumes 6 and 7 of Vampire Knight.
As school is now over for the next 5 weeks (it’s already been a week since my holidays started) I will not have a lot to complain about! Well apart from global issues like the ridiculous panic over swine flu (yeah I don’t believe it’ll be that bad, maybe I will when this “next wave” comes in autumn/winter) and so on.
Well I’ve run out of things to say so I’ll post again soon!

School…
Where to begin? I know I said I’d post after the sleepover but you know what? It was really, really dull. So there.
My first week back at school was relatively unevetful apart from the usual rubbish.
What about the week that has just passed? Well apparently I’m going to take part in some functional skills test in maths, english and ICT. Yay (not)! Then I was told that tommorrow I have three maths exams! What the hell? On Tuesday I got into a stupid arguement with Parker and Ellen about Oreos. They said that they’re “magical” I just think they’re a chocolate biscuit! Then in english we’ve been moved around so we now have…”talking partners”. … I know stupid huh? I don’t want to sit next to some girl I don’t like that I’m currently having an arguement with because she thinks I’m too mean! Forgive me for being honest! Parker and this really annoying kid are without partners. The Moron ended up with my friend Louise. Oh also in science we got landed with a year 11 GCSE assessment on gold (I’m in year 9!). Our science teacher is convinced we can do anything, heck I think he thinks we could build a rocket!
Well wish me luck for tomorrow. I’ll need it ( I did awfully on the practise tests which is very unlike me).
Post again soon! (Hopefully tommorrow)

P.S. I have a french speaking test on Wednesday…
Easter!
So I go back to school next Tuesday…NO! Still I’m going to make the most of what’s left of the holidays.
I’ve been making models over the holidays. The one below fits the Easter theme. The quality isn’t great unfortunately (stupid rubbish camera).
You can see my other work at Pixellover on deviantART.
I have quite a bit of homework that I still haven’t even glanced at. Maths, history geography (more than normal for the holidays).
Then there’s tonight. Tonight I’m going to a sleepover. Personally (at the age of 14) I feel I am too old for sleepovers but my friends disagree and as I have decided to try and be friendlier with people from now on I have decided to go. This means I must be prepared to get little sleep and I will most likely have to endure more episodes of The Mighty Boosh. Incase you are fortunate enough not to have heard of this is series here’s what it’s about: The Mighty Boosh is about two random guys who used to work at a zoo and do random things. As the series moved on they quit their job at the zoo but continue to do random things. It’s supposed to be a comedy but instead I find it to be dull, completely random and not very funny at all. However my friends love the show so I have to put up with it. *sigh*
So wish me luck tonight (and happy belated Easter)! Post again soon (tomorrow)

Nooo…!
I will start with the worst piece of news. In english we are doing an activity where we are acting out a news report on St. George killing the dragon. In this news report the princess, St. George, the dragon and a witness are interviewed. We selected a card at random for groups. Guess who got put together? Parker and the Moron (go back a few posts if you don’t remember him) that two people who weren’t supposed to end up together. Along with them are two of my unfortunate friends and another girl I’m friendly with. According to Meg, Parker and the Moron have come up with all kinds of stupid ideas and inappropriate jokes to stick in there and they have spent most of their time trying to find ways to put them in without the teacher having a go at them. In other words they have basically ignored their other three members. Another friend of mine has been landed with a boy who never shuts (literally!). I am in a group that will be one member short when we have to do the performance and one of our members is dense and can’t decide which part he wants to play even though we were given parts at the beginning.
GOOD NEWS: It’s Easter break at the end of this week! Yay! That means 2 weeks off! Do the dance (little dance of celebration commences in my head)!
MORE BAD NEWS: I have a science test on Thursday. (x_x)
For now that’s it.
Post again soon!

So much to talk about…

So I haven’t posted in a while so I have a lot to talk about. I’ll start with some good news. My Tokyo Mew Mew manga volumes arrived! That’s all the good news there is.
Now I’m going back to last Thursday. Last Thursday at lunch time I ended up in a big fight with this girl I really don’t like who hangs around with us and is the friend of two of my friends. As with most people I don’t like I make life hard for her however I’d recently just started to like her a little then she goes and makes a joke that not only isn’t funny but is also stabbing my pride in the back! Me having a lot of pride was very annoyed at this. Then I had all the usual school issues.
For some bizzare reason Parker seems to have made it his business to talk to me every design technology lesson or at least make some stupid comment. This I find rather odd. I would have thought he’d avoid talking to me considering everyone thinks I’m some evil, angry person. I wouldn’t mind so much if it weren’t for the fact the Parker nearly always has to make some smart comment that annoys me. I of course try to ignore it but when it comes to Parker I have a habit of just opening my mouth and answering back before I can stop myself. This means I can’t stop him talking to me.
Next issue. I swear by time I leave high school everyone will have had an opportunity to call me evil. My sister calls me evil, that girl I had a fight with calls me evil and even this other dumb girl in my english class called me evil when I took my pencil off her! She said she needed it! You know what she did with it? She drew horses in the back of her homework diary and then some how it ended up on the floor. Dropping it breaks the lead in the pencil! Can’t they think of something more appropriate? I admit it I’m mean but I’m not evil! There are loads of people who are or were evil! I’m not one of them!
On Wednesday just as I was contemplating forgiving the girl I had the argument with she made yet another joke along the same lines of the first one. As you can imagine I got very angry. What’s worse is she isn’t even sorry! She may say she is but I can see it in her eyes.
Yesterday in games I fell over and injured my knee in games whilst playing hockey. It bled pretty badly and hurt for the rest of the day. It’s alright now though.
Today I was mostly in computer rooms for my lessons. Also ther person that was meant to take the register this morning never turned up so we didn’t get registered much to my annoyance. Didn’t the office send someone to tkae our register as our form tutor was occupied with an art exam? Obviously not. This concludes my rant.
Post agin soon!
